Our History
Dairy Farmers’ beginnings goes back to a group of dairy farmers, mostly from the New South Wales Illawarra Region.
These farmers formed a co-operative in 1900 to market their butter and milk directly to people in the city.
Our market grew, and other dairy farmers were encouraged to join the Co-operative. We are now one of Australia’s leading dairy businesses collecting milk from farmers located in New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.
