Sustainability

At Dairy Farmers, we’re dedicated to ensuring a sustainable future - for our farmers, our people, our consumers and the environments we operate in.


We’ve already put plans in place to maximise the environmental performance of our business, and we are continually looking to enhance our practices to ensure we become leaders in this field.

For example, Dairy Farmers is engaged in a program of water and energy saving. Water Savings Plans are in place for our Lidcombe and Wetherill Park factories in New South Wales and Booval in Queensland. Energy Savings Plans have been developed for all our New South Wales factories (Lidcombe, Wetherill Park and Hexham) and Simpson in Victoria.

While we’ve already made some good progress, in the future we’ll be looking to roll out similar programs to all of our sites across Australia.
