Caramel Sauce with Cooked Banana and Ice cream

Ingredients
- 250 ml Dairy Farmers Thickened Cream
- 2-3 tsp butter
- 1 ¼ cups brown sugar
- 125 g unsalted butter
- 4 just ripe bananas
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- chocolate fudge sauce
- 2 scoops ice-cream
Method
- To make caramel sauce combine half the cream in a small saucepan with the sugar and butter. Bring slowly to a gentle boil over a low-medium heat, stirring until smooth and cooking for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat and whisk in the remaining cream. Set aside.
- Peel bananas and rub with lemon juice (to prevent browning).
- Heat butter in a large frying and cook bananas over a medium heat for 2 minutes each side or until just cooked.
- Serve bananas with caramel sauce, ice-cream, and chocolate sauce.
Suggestion
Alternatively try chopped pecan nuts instead of chocolate sauce.
