Can I drink Buttermilk? Yes. Buttermilk can be drunk straight from the carton. You can also use it to replace milk in smoothies — this will add a delicious tang. In India buttermilk is often used to make a refreshing drink known as ‘Lassi’.	Can I substitute Thickened Cream for Pure Cream in cooking? Thickened cream can be substituted for Pure Cream in most cooking applications. Thickened cream contains gelatin, which makes it more stable when whipped. However, Pure Cream can also be whipped.
