Fantastic frostings
Sour Cream can be used straight from the fridge — no need to soften. These Sour Cream frostings are fabulous over banana or carrot cake, cup cakes and slices. Not suitable for Sour Lite Cream. Lemon frosting — combine ¼ cup Sour Cream, 1 tablespoon finely grated lemon zest and 1½ cups sifted pure icing sugar in a bowl. Beat with a wooden spoon until creamy. Lime Coconut frosting — combine ½ cup Sour Cream, ¼ cup coconut milk powder and 1 tablespoon finely grated lime zest in a bowl and beat with a wooden spoon until creamy. Add 2 cups sifted pure icing sugar and beat until creamy. Chocolate frosting — Place ½ cup Sour Cream in a bowl. Add 150g melted dark cooking chocolate and beat with a wooden spoon until smooth. Beat in 1½ cups sifted pure icing sugar.

Soups plus
A dash of Pure Cream and a few chopped fresh herbs will bring soups to life.
Just before serving add a dash of cream and:
* basil to tomato soup * coriander leaves to Dutch Curry and rice soup * chives to chicken soup
